How does the SPL2 install? Do I need to drill?
The SPL2 mounts using the factory hardware. The splitter also has pre-drilled holes if you want to add support. In the box you get the one-piece dry carbon splitter with those mounting holes already drilled. Not sure whether you need a professional fitter? Text us at 609-525-4865 and we'll confirm the install method for your car.
Will the SPL2 fit my M3 or M4?
It's made for the BMW G80 M3 and the G82 and G83 M4, 2021 to 2027 model years. We don't list it for the G81 M3 Touring or the CS models, so check with us first if you drive one of those. If it doesn't fit a car we list, contact us before you install it and we'll cover return shipping for a refund or replacement.
Is the SPL2 one piece?
Yes. The SPL2 is a one-piece pre-preg dry carbon front splitter. Its multi-level shape gives it the look of a dual-layer lip while keeping it light. It's our own design.
Does it replace the gloss black factory corners?
Yes. The SPL2 replaces the bulky gloss black OEM corners on the G8X M3 and M4. Instead of black plastic at each corner, you get one carbon splitter running across the front of the bumper.
Is it real carbon fiber?
Yes. The SPL2 is 100% pre-preg dry carbon fiber, not fiberglass and not a carbon overlay. It has a 2x2 weave and a high-gloss, UV-resistant 4K clear coat. Pre-preg dry carbon is what keeps the splitter lightweight.
Can I paint accents on the SPL2?
Yes. The multi-level shape makes custom paint accents easy, so your car can stand out even if others run the same lip. Keep the accents subtle or go for bold contrast. We recommend a test fit before you paint any part.
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 5 business days after payment. Some parts are made to order, and for those the product page shows the lead time next to the Add to cart button. We ship with UPS or FedEx, and most US orders arrive 1 to 5 business days after they leave us. For an update, text 609-525-4865 with your order number.
