Our SPL1 and SPL2 designs
Both are Unit 17 designs, sold only here. The SPL1 OEM++ takes BMW's M Performance splitter as its template. Where the factory part has three small fins under the center of the bumper, the SPL1 uses a single blade that pokes slightly past the bumper line, and its corner sections are reshaped to sit wider. It mounts to the original screw holes with no drilling, though we recommend a professional fit.
The SPL2 is one piece of pre-preg carbon in a 2x2 weave with a 4K UV-resistant clear coat. It uses the factory hardware and has pre-drilled holes if you want extra support points, and its stepped, multi-level face is designed to take paint accents.
CSL, MP and V3 styles
The CSL-style lip is pre-preg with a gloss finish and fits the factory mounting with no drilling. The MP style follows the M Performance outline in dry pre-preg carbon for a factory-plus look. The V3 is a single dry carbon piece that tucks beneath the car's gloss-black corner pieces, so those stay in place. Don't confuse it with the SPL2: the V3 isn't one of our in-house designs.
Just want carbon corners?
The OEM-style corner replacement swaps the factory corner pieces for pre-preg carbon, for owners who want the least visible change. It comes in versions for 2021-on and 2023-on cars, so tell us your build date or text 609-525-4865 to confirm which one you need.

Every lip here is listed for 2021-on M3s, which in our fitment data includes the 2025 LCI. Test-fit before you paint or install. Frequently asked questions
Which G80 M3 lip keeps the factory gloss-black corners?
The V3. It mounts beneath the gloss-black corner pieces, so they stay on the car and the carbon runs under them. If you'd rather lose the gloss black, the OEM-style corner replacement swaps those pieces for carbon. For the other lips, the photos on each listing show how the ends meet your bumper.
Is the SPL1 a genuine BMW M Performance splitter?
No. The SPL1 OEM++ is our own design that starts from the M Performance splitter's outline and then changes it: one larger center blade in place of three small fins, and corners shaped to look wider. It's sold only by Unit 17 and fits the original screw holes on the G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4.
Do I have to drill my M3's bumper to fit a front lip?
Not for the SPL1 or the CSL style, which both use the existing mounting with no drilling. The SPL2 goes on with factory hardware and offers optional pre-drilled support holes. The MP style and V3 listings describe direct, bolt-on installs. We still suggest a professional fit, and a test-fit before anything is painted.
