The right G20 carbon fiber interior trim depends on which dashboard your 3 Series has. Pre-LCI cars run iDrive 7, the 2023-on LCI brought the curved display, and the 2025 model year moved to iDrive 8.5 with new steering wheels.

Match G20 carbon fiber interior trim to your dashboard
Go by model year first. G20s from 2019 to 2022 have the pre-LCI dash with iDrive 7. The LCI added the curved display with iDrive 8 for 2023, and cars built from August 2024, the 2025 model year, run Operating System 8.5 and also got new steering wheels and new air vent controls.
- Dash trim set: replaces factory trim and is sold as a six-piece iDrive 7 set for pre-LCI cars, a six-piece iDrive 8 set for 2023 and 2024, a six-piece iDrive 8.5 set for 2025 on, or a five-piece set listed for all three. The listing asks for photos of your interior and screen before ordering.

Console side pieces and armrest
The console side pieces are made for cars with the automatic transmission and the standard console, and they won't fit a leather-wrapped console. One of their listings offers an LHD or RHD choice, and the other names both in its description. The armrest box cover is for left-hand-drive cars only, which suits every G20 sold new in the US.
Steering wheel parts: photos first
The wheel needs the most care. The trim pieces are matched to the rim (leather, Alcantara or full carbon), to whether your wheel has a heating button, and to whether it carries the 5AU Driving Assistant Professional light. The cover for the panel behind the wheel has a 1/2/3/4 Series version, a CS or regular wheel choice and an M1/M2 button choice. The full CS-style wheel ranges from full leather to forged carbon. Wheels vary with equipment and changed for 2025, so each listing asks for photos of your current wheel. Test-fit each piece before it goes in for good, since installed parts can't be returned. Do the LCI console and column covers fit a pre-LCI G20?
No. The center console cover and the steering column cover are listed for the 2023-on LCI only, the version that brought the curved display. For a 2019 to 2022 car, look at the pre-LCI dash set, the console side pieces, the armrest cover and the steering wheel parts, which are listed for the G20 from 2019 on.
Will the steering wheel trim fit a 2025 3 Series?
Check with us first. BMW gave the 3 Series new steering wheels for the 2025 model year: a two-spoke wheel as standard on the 330i, and a three-spoke, flat-bottomed M wheel on M Sport cars and the M340i. Can I use the console side pieces with a leather-wrapped console?
No. Both listings for the side pieces say they're made for automatic cars with the standard center console and aren't compatible with the leather-wrapped version. If you're not sure which console your car has, send us a photo of it and we'll tell you before you order.
