Carbon fiber vent trim for the openings in your fenders and bumpers: fender breathers, side vents and front air ducts. Most pieces are pre-preg dry carbon and either replace a factory trim or cover it.
The range covers the G80 M3, G82/G83 M4, G87 M2, X3M/X4M before and after the facelift, the F95 X5M, the Audi RS3, RS6 and R8, and the Mercedes C63 and G-Class. Despite the Side heading, the front bumper air ducts and inlets for these cars are listed here as well.

Fender vents and breathers
On the G80 M3 and G82 M4, the MP-style fender breathers replace the factory trim behind the front wheel. You pull the old trim, move its fixings to the carbon piece, and stick your M badge on with fresh 3M tape; the badge itself isn't included. The X3M and X4M have two styles of front side vent for the fender, OEM style and SQ style, both of which use the factory mounting points without drilling, plus a set of fender vents. Older cars are covered too: F87 M2 vents that clip in like the originals, and G30/G31 5 Series vents that bond over the factory trim.
Front bumper air ducts and inlets
- G8X M3/M4: the lower air duct pair and the dual air duct replace factory parts. Their mounting points sit behind the bumper, so it has to come off.
- G87 M2: MP-style air inlets with a clip on the back for the sensor (coming soon), and front duct inserts in V2 and V3 designs.
- X3M/X4M LCI: SQ-style air inlets that need the bumper removed, a front air vent, and stick-on lower and side duct trims sold as a 3, 2 or 5-piece set. See the X3M/X4M LCI vent trims.
- Audi and Mercedes: OEM-style front air ducts for the 2025-on RS3, 3-piece front side vents for the RS6/RS7 (C8), and bumper vents for the W205 and W204 C63 and the 2019 to 2023 G-Class.
Rear vents
A few trims sit at the back: rear bumper vents for the second-generation Audi R8, and a rear side vent trim for the X3M LCI. The R8 vents come pre-drilled and need drilling to fit.
Clip-in, stick-on or bumper-off
Each vent trim fits one of three ways. Clip-in replacements take the factory fixings. Stick-on overlays use 3M tape: clean and dry the surface and warm the tape slightly so it bonds. Bumper-off parts such as the G8X lower ducts and X3M SQ inlets are a shop job. Match pre-LCI or LCI on the X3M/X4M, because the facelift changed the front bumper. Frequently asked questions
Do I need to take the front bumper off to fit carbon air ducts?
For some parts, yes. The G80/G82 lower air ducts mount from behind the bumper, and the SQ-style air inlets for the X3M/X4M LCI need the bumper off too. The stick-on duct trims for the X3M/X4M LCI, the G-Class bumper vent and the X5M bumper trims go on from the outside with 3M tape.
Will LCI vent trims fit a pre-LCI X3M or X4M?
Not the front bumper parts. BMW redesigned the front intakes for the 2022 facelift, so the LCI air ducts, inlets and front air vent are listed for LCI cars only. The fender vents and the OEM-style and SQ-style front side vents are tagged for the pre-LCI, and there is a separate SQ-style front side vent for the X3M LCI. What does SQ style mean on these parts?
SQ-style parts are designs from SOOQOO, a carbon parts maker whose branding appears on several listings, such as the X3M/X4M LCI air inlets. On this page you'll find SQ-style front side vents, a front air vent and air inlets for the X3M and X4M.
Do the G87 M2 air inlets keep the front sensor?
Yes. The MP-style dry carbon air inlets for the G87 have a clip on the back that holds the sensor. They are marked Coming soon, so ask us about timing before you order. The V2 and V3 front duct inserts are the other G87 options on this page, both pre-preg with a gloss finish.
How do the stick-on vent trims stay on?
With 3M double-sided tape, pre-applied on most pieces. Clean and dry the surface first, then apply a little heat to the tape on the back of the part before pressing it into place. The X5M and G87 listings recommend exactly that for a lasting bond.
