These X3M side vents go on the front fender air breathers of a pre-LCI X3M or X4M, the vents where BMW puts the M gills. Each is pre-preg dry carbon and listed for both cars, built from 2019 until the facelift.
Want the factory shape, just in carbon? Take the OEM-style vent. The SQ-style vents have a more aggressive design, or you can choose the fender vent trims.

OEM-style or SQ-style X3M side vents
The OEM-style front side vent replaces the factory vent pieces with carbon in the original shape. It uses the OEM hardware plus 3M double-sided tape, pre-applied or supplied, and needs no drilling. The SQ-style front side vents also take the place of the factory pieces, in a bolder design, and fix to the factory mounting points and hardware, again without drilling. Both have a high-gloss, UV-resistant finish, and both listings recommend a professional installer for alignment.
The carbon fender vents are listed as vents or trims for the factory fender, but their listing doesn't state how they attach. Ask us before ordering if that matters for your install.
Check your version first
The OEM-style and SQ-style listings name the X3 M Competition and X4 M Competition as direct fits. If your car is the standard model, text a photo of the fender vent to 609-525-4865 and we'll confirm. They are also tagged for pre-LCI cars only. The X3 M LCI has its own SQ-style front side vent on the X3M/X4M LCI vent trims page, so check with us before fitting a pre-LCI vent to a later car.
Test-fit the vents before you install them. Yes. The OEM-style vent, the SQ-style vents and the fender vents are all listed for the pre-LCI F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M, so you order the same part for either car.
Will I need to drill my fenders to fit them?
Not for the OEM-style or SQ-style vents. Both use the factory mounting points and hardware, and the OEM-style vent adds 3M double-sided tape. The fender vents' listing doesn't give a mounting method, so text 609-525-4865 if you want to know before ordering.
