Choosing a G80 M3 diffuser: MP style or the D3
The MP-style diffuser is the simplest swap. It takes the place of the factory plastic diffuser on the OEM hardware and clip points, its fins frame the four exhaust tips, and it is pre-preg dry carbon in a 2x2 weave with a UV-resistant gloss clear coat. Professional fitting is recommended for the best alignment.
Our D3 3-piece diffuser goes further. It comes with rear corner extensions, so the carbon carries out toward the ends of the bumper, and it mounts on the factory points without cutting. Select the M3 option when you order. Two more center sections are listed as Coming soon: the brake-light diffuser and an AD-style diffuser, which has no details yet, so ask us about it.
Rear corners: winglet, OE shape or extension
The gloss-black pieces at the outer ends of the M3 rear bumper can be replaced in carbon. Choose the MP-style corners for a small winglet on each side, or the version without winglets if you like the factory outline. Both swap straight in: four plastic clips sit under the original piece and tabs inside the bumper hold it, and the carbon part uses the same points. The rear corner extensions are our own G80 design. Corner pieces are sold in separate M3 and M4 versions, so buy the G80 listing.
Outer trim, finish and fitting
The outer diffuser trim replaces the gloss-black surround in 2x2 carbon and bolts on without cutting. It works with the factory diffuser or selected aftermarket ones, which makes it an easy first step if the center section stays for now. Most parts here are pre-preg dry carbon with a gloss clear coat; each product page states its material. Frequently asked questions
Can I fit M4 rear corners to a G80 M3?
No. The corner pieces are listed separately for each car: the M3 versions say G80 fitment only, and the M4 versions are made for the G82 and G83. Buy the G80 listing, with or without winglets. The center diffuser and the outer trim are another matter: one listing covers both cars.
Does the D3 diffuser need cutting or drilling?
No. The D3 mounts on the factory mounting points with no cutting or other modifications, and it comes with its own rear corner extensions. Pick the M3 option at checkout. Test-fit it before final installation anyway, because an installed part can't be returned.
Do these diffusers fit a 2025-on LCI M3?
The diffusers, corners and trim here are listed for 2021-on M3s, with no separate facelift version. The 2025 update mainly brought new headlights, and none of these listings splits by model year. If you want a second check for a newer car, text a photo of the rear bumper to 609-525-4865 before ordering.
What is the diffuser with the F1-style brake light?
A Unit 17 design with an LED light in the center that is wired into the car's brake lights. It is marked Coming soon, which means there is no ship date yet, so ask us about timing before you order. Fitting it means taking the rear bumper off, both to wire the light and to release the factory diffuser clips safely.
