F87 M2
18 products
We carry F87 M2 carbon fiber parts for the original M2, the M2 Competition and the M2 CS, the generation BMW sold from 2016 to 2021.
Each front splitter is made for a specific bumper, so start there. Two are for the Competition and CS, and a standard splitter and a corner splitter are listed for earlier cars. There are also two rear diffusers, side skirt extensions, an M.L rear spoiler, fender vents, fuel cap covers and two engine covers, one of them forged carbon. Most pieces are real carbon fiber with pre-drilled holes and self-tapping screws. The 2023-on car has its own G87 M2 page.
BMW F87 M2 buying guide
How the original M2, Competition and CS differ
BMW sold the original M2 with the N55 six-cylinder for the 2016 to 2018 model years. The M2 Competition replaced it for 2019 and got the S55 engine from the M3 and M4, larger kidney grille openings and a new front skirt that lets in more air. The M2 CS was a 2020 model in the US, and it left the factory with a carbon front splitter, hood, roof, rear spoiler and diffuser.
Choosing a front splitter
The Competition's front skirt is different, so each splitter is made for one bumper or the other. The Competition front splitter and the MP-style front splitter are listed only for the Competition and CS. The standard front splitter and the corner splitter are listed for 2015–2020 M2s and don't mention the Competition, so if you drive a 2019-on car, text us at 609-525-4865 before you order one of those two. All four need drilling. They come with pre-drilled holes and self-tapping screws, and we recommend a professional installer.
Rear, side and engine bay parts
There are two rear diffusers, a 3-piece design and a standard one, and both need drilling. The side skirt extensions and the M.L spoiler fill in the car's profile. The carbon fender vents are a direct replacement: they go in the way the factory vents come out, with the clips in the same places.
Both engine covers are listed for 2015–2020 cars. The Competition and CS have a different engine, and BMW's own carbon engine cover for them was a separate part, so check that the listing matches your engine. The fuel cap cover is pre-preg dry carbon and is listed for several M cars. One version comes in gloss, matte or forged.
Frequently asked questions
Which front splitter fits an M2 Competition or CS?
Two of ours do: the Competition front splitter and the MP-style front splitter. Their listings say they fit only the Competition and CS, whose front skirt differs from the 2016–2018 car's. Both need drilling and come with pre-drilled holes and self-tapping screws, and we recommend having a professional fit them.
Will the F87 engine cover fit an M2 Competition?
Check with us before you order one. Our engine covers are listed for 2015–2020 M2s, and the Competition and CS replaced the original N55 engine with the S55 from the M3 and M4, which takes a different cover. Text us at 609-525-4865 with your model year.
Do the F87 rear diffusers need drilling?
Yes. The listings for both the 3-piece and the standard diffuser say drilling is required. Each comes with pre-drilled holes and self-tapping screws, and we recommend a professional installer. Test-fit the diffuser before you drill, because installed parts can't be returned.
Are the F87 fender vents a direct swap?
Yes. The listing calls them a direct replacement. They go in the same way the factory vents come out, with the clips in the same places. We still recommend having a professional fit them.
