Before you order a carbon hood
A hood is a full panel swap. Plan on professional fitting, with latch adjustment and panel alignment to get even gaps, and expect some minor adjustment, which is normal with aftermarket carbon panels. Shipping takes longer than for small parts: the G80/G82 hood lists about 35 days by sea freight, and the RS3 hood about 30 days, with shipping rates to confirm with us before you buy. Parts marked Coming soon have no ship date yet, so ask us for timing.
Check the version
The X5 hood is listed for the G05 and, depending on hood configuration, the G05 LCI, so confirm your model year and LCI status before ordering. Test-fit any hood before paint work, since an installed or painted panel can't be returned.
Frequently asked questions
Does the X3 M hood fit both LCI and pre-LCI cars?
Yes. The vented hood is listed for the F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M in both pre-LCI and LCI form. It has vents and a center power dome under a high-gloss clear coat. Professional installation is recommended, and some minor fitment adjustment may be needed.
Is the G-Class part a full hood?
No. It's a pre-preg dry carbon center trim for the hood scoop of the W464 G-Class, pre-facelift and facelift, and it's bonded on with automotive adhesive. It adds a carbon detail without replacing the factory hood.
Which RS3 hood do I need for a facelift car?
The same one. The RS3 hood is listed for both the 8Y pre-facelift and the 2025+ 8Y.5 facelift, in pre-preg dry carbon with a gloss clear coat. Contact us for a shipping rate before you order; the listing gives about 30 days for shipping.
