Choose a G87 M2 diffuser by how much of the rear bumper you want to change, from a full carbon diffuser to small trims. The full options are our own 3-piece design, a one-piece pre-preg diffuser and a CS-style diffuser, all listed for 2023-on M2s, and none of them needs drilling.

Three full G87 M2 diffusers compared
- Unit 17 3-piece: our answer to the way the M2's rear bumper corners flare upward and look empty next to the low nose and sides. The side sections wrap around the exhausts and fill that space, so the car sits visually lower from behind, and the crisp edges echo the boxy details elsewhere on the body. It reuses all the OEM hardware, and our first sample was test-fitted at a local BMW body shop. Pre-preg with a 4K clear coat.
- One-piece dry carbon: a single pre-preg diffuser with a gloss finish and a factory-style fit to the OEM bumper. Pick it for a sharper take on the stock part without adding extra sections.
- CS style: pre-preg dry carbon cured in an autoclave, designed from OEM CAD data and bolted to the factory mounting points with the hardware supplied. It's the only one offered with a choice of matte or gloss PPG clear coat.
Rear bumper trims without changing the diffuser
If you like the factory diffuser but not the gloss-black trim at the rear bumper vents, the add-on pieces are the smaller step. The rear bumper splitter sits over the vent and covers its gloss-black trim, with a cut-out for the parking sensor. The rear bumper trim fits beside the same vent. Both are pre-preg with a high-gloss finish: clean and dry the bumper, then warm the pre-applied tape as you press the part on. The rear bumper fins, which cover the side vents, are still Coming soon. Checks before you buy
None of the diffuser listings mentions aftermarket exhausts, so if your M2 has non-factory tips, text a photo of the rear to 609-525-4865 first. Test-fit any diffuser before painting or installing it. Installed parts can't be returned, but if a part doesn't fit the car on its product page, contact us first and our fitment guarantee covers the return shipping. How is the 3-piece G87 diffuser different from the one-piece?
The 3-piece is a Unit 17 design that reaches out around the exhausts to fill the raised-looking corners of the M2's rear bumper, giving a lower line from behind. The one-piece is a single diffuser with a factory-style fit to the OEM bumper, for owners who don't need that wider coverage. Both are pre-preg dry carbon, listed for 2023-on M2s and fitted without drilling.
Can I get a G87 diffuser in a matte finish?
Yes: the CS-style diffuser is offered with a matte or a gloss PPG clear coat. The one-piece diffuser and the rear bumper trims have a gloss finish, and our 3-piece is layered with a 4K clear coat. If you're matching other carbon on the car, compare the finish named on each listing before you order.
Will the rear bumper splitter cover my parking sensor?
No. The listing describes a cut-out for the parking (PDC) sensor, so the part covers the gloss-black vent trim while leaving the sensor clear. Clean and dry the area first and warm the pre-applied 3M tape so it bonds properly.
Do I need a body shop to fit a G87 diffuser?
Not necessarily. Our 3-piece uses all the OEM hardware, the CS style bolts to the factory mounting points with supplied hardware, and the one-piece needs no drilling. If you haven't removed trim on a BMW before, a shop is the safer route. The bumper trims are simpler still, since they stick on with pre-applied 3M tape.
