Audi R8 Gen 1 carbon fiber parts for the first-generation R8 (Type 42), sold from 2007 to 2015. There are side skirt extensions for 2007–2014 cars, a rear diffuser for the 2008–2011 V8, and a complete kit with a front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirt extensions and wing spoiler.
Each piece is real carbon fiber with its screw holes already drilled and self-tapping screws supplied. You’ll still need to drill the car, so the listings recommend a professional installer. For the second-generation car, see the R8 Gen 2.

Early car or facelift, V8 or V10?
Audi facelifted the R8 in autumn 2012. The update brought a new front bumper whose air inlets have three crossbars, a gloss-black grille, standard LED headlights and a slightly larger rear diffuser. The V10, unveiled at the end of 2008, has its own dual-outlet exhaust. The rear diffuser on this page is listed for 2008–2011 V8 cars only, so it isn’t the one for a V10 or a facelift car. The side skirt extensions and the complete kit are listed for 2007–2014. If your R8 is a V10, a Spyder or a 2013-on facelift, text us a photo before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Gen 1 R8 rear diffuser fit the V10?
It isn’t listed for it. The diffuser is made for V8 R8s from 2008 to 2011, and the V10 has a different, dual-outlet exhaust. If you aren’t sure which version you have, send a photo of the rear of the car to 609-525-4865 before ordering.
What’s in the complete R8 Gen 1 kit?
A front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirt extensions and a wing spoiler, all real carbon fiber and listed for 2007–2014 cars. The pieces come pre-drilled with self-tapping screws. Text us before ordering so we can check the kit against your engine and build year.
Do Gen 1 parts fit the second-generation R8?
No. The second-generation R8 (Type 4S) is a different car with its own bodywork, and everything on this page is listed for the first generation only. Gen 2 owners have their own page with vents, fins, side skirts and a kit.
