F30/F31 3 Series

17 products

We carry F30 carbon fiber parts for the 3 Series sedan and the F31 Sports Wagon with M Sport: front splitters, side skirts and rear diffusers. In the US the sedan ran from 2012 to 2018 and the wagon to 2019, and our listings cover cars before and after the 2016 facelift.

Take the most care with the rear diffuser, because the diffusers differ by exhaust and body. Two are made for the 335i and 340i, one is listed for M Sport bumpers in general, and one is for the wagon. F80 M3 parts are on the F80/F82 M3/M4 page.

BMW F30/F31 3 Series buying guide

Choosing an F30 or F31 rear diffuser

Start with your exhaust. The 335i and 340i have a tailpipe on each side, and the 328i and 330i use a different layout. Two diffusers are made for the six-cylinder cars: the 340i M Sport diffuser and the dual-exit diffuser listed for the 335i and 340i. Both mount in the factory position with the bolts from the original diffuser. The dual-exit version is listed for the sedan and the wagon, and its listing says it can also go on an M Sport bumper as part of a dual-exit exhaust conversion. The F30/F31 M Sport diffuser doesn't name an engine, and the F31 has its own wagon diffuser. You can compare them all under F30 and F31 diffusers.

Sedan or Sports Wagon parts

In the US the F31 was sold as the 3 Series Sports Wagon, and our listings call it the Touring or Estate. The M Sport front splitter and side skirt extensions are listed for both bodies. The wagon also has its own listings for the splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser.

M Performance-style side skirts

These extensions are listed for 3 and 4 Series cars with M Sport and for the F80 M3, but not for the F82 M4. If you want the M Performance look along the sills, compare them with the standard M Sport extensions under F30 side skirts.

Fitting F30 carbon parts

All of these parts are real carbon fiber. Most of the splitters and side skirts need drilling, and so do the M Sport and wagon diffusers. The holes are predrilled and self-tapping screws are included. We recommend a professional installer. Test-fit before you drill or paint, because installed parts can't be returned.

Frequently asked questions

Which rear diffuser fits a 340i sedan?

Two are listed for it: the 340i M Sport diffuser and the dual-exit diffuser for the 335i and 340i. Both mount in the factory position with the bolts from the original diffuser, and the dual-exit version is also listed for the F31 wagon.

Can I fit a dual-exit diffuser to a 328i or 330i?

You can, but only as part of an exhaust change. The four-cylinder cars don't have a tailpipe on each side like the 335i and 340i, and the dual-exit diffuser's listing says it can go on an M Sport rear bumper as part of a dual-exit exhaust conversion. If you're keeping the factory exhaust, text a photo of your rear bumper to 609-525-4865 and we'll point you to the right diffuser.

Are F31 Sports Wagon parts different from the sedan's?

Some are shared. The M Sport front splitter, side skirt extensions and dual-exit diffuser are listed for both bodies. The wagon also has its own listings, named Touring or Estate, for the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser.

Do any F30 parts fit the F80 M3?

Only the M Performance-style side skirt extensions do. They're listed for 3 and 4 Series M Sport cars and the F80 M3. The M3 has its own bumpers, so its lips, diffusers and spoilers are on the F80/F82 page.
