Unit 17 exclusive carbon fiber parts are our own designs, developed in-house and sold only here. We test fitment, proportions and finish on our own cars before a part goes on sale, and some projects, like the X3M/X4M parts and the Audi Q7 splitter, started from 3D scans of the car.
The range covers the SPL1 and SPL2 splitters for the G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4, a matched splitter, side skirt, diffuser and spoiler set for the G87 M2, X3M/X4M splitters and side skirts, S1 Pro and E1 Pro aero for the Audi RS3 8Y.5, and our dry carbon intake. Most are pre-preg dry carbon with a gloss clear coat. Every exclusive comes with a 1-year warranty and our fitment guarantee.

How our exclusive designs are made
Each design is developed on one of our own cars, where we check fitment, proportions, materials and finish in real use before production. The parts are then made exclusively for us, so other retailers don't carry them. Several projects began with a 3D scan: the X3M/X4M splitters, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser were developed in-house from 3D scans of the car, and the Audi Q7 splitter exists because the Q7 has so little aftermarket support. The first G87 M2 diffuser sample was test-fitted at a local BMW body shop before we went ahead. More on our approach is on the About page.
G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4
The SPL1 OEM++ splitter keeps the outline of BMW's M Performance splitter but trades its three small center fins for one blade that reaches slightly past the bumper, and it uses the original screw holes. The SPL2 is a one-piece splitter on factory hardware whose layered shape is easy to accent with paint. Along the sides, choose the bolt-on V2 extensions or the undermount extensions with a small flared winglet. At the back there's a 3-piece diffuser supplied with rear corner extensions, separate M3 and M4 corner extensions, and a diffuser with an F1-style brake light that is marked Coming soon. G87 M2: parts designed as a set
The M2 parts were developed side by side. The SPL1 has molded-in vents and mounts on the OEM fixings without drilling, while the SPL2 adds a deeper front ledge and can be paint-matched on request. The side skirts carry a stepped detail taken from our splitter, the 3-piece diffuser uses the OEM hardware, and the OEM++ spoiler, which also fits the G42 2 Series, spans the full width of the trunk lid. Our dry carbon intake fits the M2 as well as the M3 and M4.
X3M/X4M: LCI or pre-LCI
Our X3M/X4M front splitter comes in two versions that aren't interchangeable: one for pre-LCI cars and one for the 2022-on LCI, which comes with pre-drilled holes, self-tapping screws and hardware. The side skirt extensions fit both generations and stop just short of the factory underglow light. The rear spoiler and the 3-piece diffuser with corner splitters are X3M-only parts, for pre-LCI and LCI cars alike.
Audi RS3 8Y and Q7
The S1 Pro front lip and E1 Pro side skirts are made for the 2025-on RS3 8Y.5 facelift, sedan or Sportback, and are sold separately or as a package. The full aero kit for the 8Y.5 sedan adds a rear diffuser and lower rear corner splitters, and the rear spoilers are body-specific. Frequently asked questions
Can I buy Unit 17 exclusives from other retailers?
No. Our exclusive collection is designed, developed and manufactured for Unit 17 and is available only through our own store. Each design is developed and test-fitted on our own cars first, and the finished parts are made for us alone.
What's the difference between the SPL1 and SPL2 splitters?
Both are Unit 17 designs, offered for the G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4 and for the G87 M2. On the M3 and M4, the SPL1 stays close to BMW's M Performance splitter with a single center blade and reshaped corners, while the one-piece SPL2 has a multi-level shape made for paint accents. On the M2, the SPL1 has molded-in vents and the SPL2 a deeper front ledge.
Can I have an exclusive part painted or finished in matte?
Some are designed for it. The M3/M4 SPL2's layered shape suits custom paint accents, the G87 SPL2 is available paint-matched on request, and the V2 side skirt extensions come in gloss or matte (say which at checkout). Test-fit any part before painting it, because painted or installed parts can't be returned.
Do the RS3 aero parts fit both the sedan and the Sportback?
The S1 Pro lip and E1 Pro side skirts fit both 8Y.5 facelift bodies, and the RD1 Pro 3-piece diffuser is offered for both, so state yours at checkout. The spoilers are body-specific: the SD2 Pro is for the sedan, while the S2 Pro and the top spoiler are for the Sportback. The full aero kit is for the 8Y.5 sedan.
Which X3M exclusives also fit the X4M?
The front splitters and the side skirt extensions are listed for both the X3M (F97) and the X4M (F98). The rear spoiler and the 3-piece diffuser are for the X3M only. For the splitter, also match the version to your car, pre-LCI or 2022-on LCI. See the X3M/X4M LCI exclusives.
