Every X3M rear spoiler and X4M spoiler on this page is listed for the original, pre-LCI cars as well as the facelift. What decides the fit is the body: the X3M's upright hatch and the X4M's sloping one each need their own part.

Where each spoiler sits on a pre-LCI car
BMW built the first X3 M and X4 M with an M-specific roof spoiler on top of the rear hatch. The SQ-style roof spoilers work along that top edge, one shaped for each body. Lower down, our X3 M tailgate spoiler was drawn from 3D scans of the car in our shop so it sits flush across the tailgate. It is carbon fiber with a high-gloss, UV-resistant finish and is made for the X3 M alone, so it won't fit an X4 M or a non-M X3. The SOOQOO spoiler gives X3 M owners a different shape in pre-preg carbon.
Choosing for an X4 M
Both X4 M parts are pre-preg dry carbon with a high-gloss finish, and both are held on by 3M double-sided tape rather than screws, so nothing gets drilled. The roof spoiler follows the factory roofline, while the SQ-style rear spoiler works on the rear profile lower down. Their listings suggest a professional installer for alignment and a secure bond.

Is there a spoiler made only for the pre-LCI X3M?
No. Every spoiler here is listed for both versions of its body, before and after the facelift, so there's no pre-LCI-only design. What you must match is the body: F97 parts are for the X3 M and F98 parts for the X4 M.
Which X4M spoilers go on without drilling?
Both of them. The SQ-style roof spoiler and rear spoiler for the X4 M come pre-taped with 3M double-sided tape, or with the tape supplied, and need no drilling or permanent changes. Clean the surface well, check the position before pressing it down, and consider a professional fit, as the listings advise.
How do I know my X3M is a pre-LCI car?
Pre-LCI cars were built from spring 2019 until the facelift arrived, so in the US a 2021 or older X3 M or X4 M is pre-LCI. The facelift is easy to spot from the front: its outer bumper intakes are tall and vertical, and a larger grille dips into the bumper. Unsure? Text a photo to 609-525-4865.
