The 3-piece Performance-style kit is a front lip plus two lower splitters, listed for the F80, F82 and F83 through 2020, with a UV-protective clear coat. If you only want part of that look, the lower splitter is sold on its own (the canards are not included), and the front upper lips cover the bumper corners. The upper lips are bonded on: we suggest a windscreen-type adhesive that cures rubbery, so they can come off later without harming the bumper paint.
Choosing an F80 M3 front splitter style
The GTS-style lip borrows its look from the limited-run M4 GTS, the track-focused coupe that left the factory with an adjustable carbon splitter. Because of its size, the listing suggests adding a few screws beyond the predrilled ones. The forged carbon corner splitter is listed for the F80 M3 only and gives a forged finish instead of a woven one.
Fitting an F8X lip
Plan on a professional install. The kit goes on with the supplied self-tapping screws and double-sided tape without taking the bumper off, but drilling is required. The screws are universal for F8X lips, so check their length and use washers to protect the bumper, with fixings at the center, at each end and under the splitters. Will these front lips fit a 2020 M4?
