Which G80 M3 carbon fiber interior trim fits your dash
The M3 has had three dashboards so far. Early cars run iDrive 7. From July 2022 production BMW switched the M3 to iDrive 8 and the curved display, and the central air vents became one wider unit instead of two separate ones. The 2025 facelift then brought iDrive 8.5 and ambient lighting around redesigned center vents. The dash trim set follows those changes: it's sold as a 6-piece set for each system, labeled ID7, ID8 and ID8.5, plus a 5-piece set offered across all three.
The vent pieces follow the same split. The iDrive 8 aircon cover is listed for 2023 cars and, per its listing, won't suit plastic interiors, while a front aircon cover and a center trim are made for 2025 cars on iDrive 8.5. Go by the build month printed on the label in the driver's door jamb rather than the model year, and if your M3 was built around mid-2022, text a photo of the dash to 609-525-4865.
Seat backs, M Carbon buckets and the seat delete
