There are three BMW F80 M3 rear diffuser styles here: MP style, forged 3-piece and V-style 3-piece. Only the MP-style diffuser is also listed for the F82 coupe and F83 convertible, and it goes on with your original bolts in the factory positions.

MP style: one diffuser for the M3 and M4
The MP-style diffuser is real carbon fiber and is listed for the F80, F82 and F83 from 2014 to 2020. Its holes are predrilled to line up with the factory mounting points, and it reuses the bolts that hold your original diffuser, so the listing doesn't call for new holes. The word "OEM" in its name describes that factory-style fitment; it isn't a BMW part. Choose it if you want carbon at the back without changing how the rear of the car is put together.
Choosing a BMW F80 M3 rear diffuser in three pieces
- Forged 3-piece: forged carbon, with the marbled look that comes from short fibers pressed together at random. Holes are predrilled and self-tapping screws are included, but drilling is required, so book a shop.
- V-style 3-piece: takes the place of the factory lower diffuser area and adds sharper lines and extra depth, sold as a complete set. Its listing doesn't name the material, so check the product page or ask us if that matters to you. It also warns that fitting may need small adjustments, depending on the car and any aftermarket parts already on it.
Both 3-piece sets are listed for 2014 to 2018 M3s only.

The M3 CS and M4 CS left the factory with their own rear diffusers, so check with us first on those cars too. Whatever you choose, test-fit it before drilling or painting. Which F80 diffuser is the simplest to install?

Will a new diffuser clear the aftermarket exhaust on my M3?
