Intake or midpipe?
They work at opposite ends of the engine. The intake is a dry carbon set with high-flow filters that replaces the factory intake, and its listing promises more airflow, quicker throttle response and more turbo sound. The midpipe sits between the downpipes and the rear muffler and changes the exhaust note. If you want sound from both ends, they can be fitted together on an M3 or M4; on the M2, only the intake is listed.
Frequently asked questions
Does the dry carbon intake fit the G87 M2?
Yes. The intake is listed for the G87 M2 as well as the G80 M3, G81 M3 Touring, G82 M4 and G83 M4 convertible, which all use the S58 engine. It's one of our own designs and is sold only here.
Is there a midpipe for the G87 M2 here?
No. The IRL midpipe in this section is made for the G80, G81, G82 and G83 only. If you're looking for exhaust parts for an M2, text us at 609-525-4865 and ask.
