An RS3 8Y diffuser has to match the rear bumper your car was built with. Audi redesigned the bumper and diffuser for the 2025 facelift, so pre-facelift and 8Y.5 cars take different parts.
For 2022–2024 RS3s there's a dry carbon diffuser. For the 8Y.5 there's our RD1 Pro, or the full sedan aero kit, which has a rear diffuser of its own. Each one is pre-preg dry carbon with a gloss clear coat.

What the 2025 update changed at the back
For the 2025 model year Audi fitted the RS3 with a redesigned RS diffuser, vertical reflectors at the bumper ends and a red reflector in the middle of the diffuser. A diffuser shaped around one bumper doesn't suit the other, so start with the year of your car: 2022–2024 is pre-facelift, 2025 on is the 8Y.5.
Choosing an RS3 8Y diffuser: pre-facelift or RD1 Pro
The pre-facelift diffuser is sculpted to make the rear look wider while keeping the factory bumper shape, and it has a high-gloss UV-resistant clear coat. Its listing names the sedan and the Sportback without saying whether they differ, so tell us your body style when you order.
The RD1 Pro is our own design for the 8Y.5 and isn't sold elsewhere. It comes in three pieces with rear splitter sections built in. The sections are assembled first, and the finished diffuser then goes onto the original Audi mounting locations. It's made in a sedan and a Sportback version, and you choose yours at checkout.
Diffuser alone or the full sedan kit
The 8Y.5 sedan aero kit puts a rear diffuser alongside lower rear corner splitters, a one-piece front splitter and side skirt extensions. Its listing doesn't say whether that diffuser is the RD1 Pro, so ask us if you want to compare the two. Whichever you choose, hold it against the bumper before anything is painted or fixed: an installed diffuser can't be returned, but if it doesn't fit the car named on its product page, call us first and the fitment guarantee pays the return shipping. Frequently asked questions
Can I fit a pre-facelift RS3 diffuser to a 2025 car?
No. The 8Y.5 has a different rear bumper and diffuser, so the pre-facelift diffuser is listed for 2022–2024 cars only. For a 2025-on RS3, choose the RD1 Pro or the sedan aero kit. Not sure which bumper you have? Text a photo of the rear to 609-525-4865.
Do I need to tell you whether my RS3 is a sedan or a Sportback?
For the RD1 Pro, yes: there's a sedan and a Sportback version, and you pick one at checkout. Every US-market RS3 8Y is a sedan. For the pre-facelift diffuser, the listing names both bodies, so add your body style to the order notes or text us.
How is the RD1 Pro diffuser installed?
It arrives as three pieces, including its rear splitter sections, which are joined before the diffuser goes on the car. It then attaches at the factory mounting locations on the rear bumper. An experienced installer is the safe choice. Test-fit it first, because an installed diffuser can't be returned.
