BMW G87 M2 (2023+) Exclusive Unit17 Design Side Skirts with Winglets
Introducing the exclusive Unit17 Design side skirt extensions for the BMW G87 M2, developed as part of our expanding carbon aero program. Crafted from premium pre-preg dry carbon fiber and finished in a deep gloss clearcoat, these side skirts deliver a perfect balance of aggressive styling and OEM-inspired refinement.
Manufactured using a 2×2 weave prepreg dry carbon construction, each set is lightweight, exceptionally strong, and protected with a UV-resistant 4K clearcoat to ensure long-term durability and finish quality.
Unlike conventional extensions, our design integrates closely with the factory side skirt profile. The extensions mount securely from the underside while maintaining direct visual cohesion with the body line, creating a subtle, factory-enhanced appearance rather than an overly add-on look. A carefully engineered stepped detail is embedded within the carbon design, intentionally matching the geometry of our custom front splitter to achieve a unified and well-balanced aero package.
These side skirts were developed alongside our front splitter and are designed to complement it seamlessly, forming a cohesive aerodynamic profile across the vehicle. The integrated rear winglet further enhances visual flow while adding a slightly wider, more aggressive stance to balance the depth of the G87’s rear quarter panels.
Installation is straightforward, utilizing pre-drilled mounting points and short self-tapping screws secured from underneath the vehicle. Weighing only 2.2 kg, the extensions remain lightweight while maintaining optimal rigidity and fitment — a mounting approach refined through years of hands-on experience within the performance automotive industry.

How do the M2 side skirts install?
They mount from underneath the car. The mounting points come pre-drilled in the carbon, and short self-tapping screws hold the extensions in place.

Will they fit a 2025 M2?
Yes. We list them for the G87 M2, 2023 to 2027 model years, so 2025 cars are included. They're made for the G87 M2 only, so ask us before ordering for any other car.

Do they replace my factory side skirts?
No. They're extensions that sit along your factory side skirts and mount from underneath. We shaped them to follow the factory side skirt profile and body line, so they look like part of the car.
The built-in rear winglet gives a slightly wider stance at the G87's rear quarter panels.
Do they match your G87 M2 front splitter?
Yes. We developed these side skirts alongside our G87 M2 front splitter, and a stepped detail in the carbon matches that splitter's shape. Run them together and the two read as one set. Both are our own Unit 17 designs.
Is it real carbon fiber, and how much does it weigh?
Yes. They're prepreg dry carbon fiber in a 2x2 weave, finished in a deep gloss, UV-resistant 4K clear coat. The extensions weigh 2.2 kg (about 4.9 lb), and gloss is the only finish.
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 5 business days after payment. Some parts are made to order, and for those the product page shows the lead time next to the Add to cart button. We ship with UPS or FedEx, and most US orders arrive 1 to 5 business days after they leave us. For an update, text 609-525-4865 with your order number.
Do you ship outside the US?
