We sell BMW carbon fiber parts for M cars and other models, with a page for each chassis from the G80 M3, G82 M4 and G87 M2 back to the E92 M3.

Most of the range is aero and trim for M cars: front splitters, grilles, canards, side skirts, diffusers, spoilers and trunks, plus mirror caps, interior pieces and engine bay covers. We also carry parts for the M5, X3 M, X4 M, X5 M and X6 M, and for other models from the 2 Series to the X6. Some are Unit 17’s own designs, sold only here. The buying guide below links to each model’s page. If you aren’t sure which one fits your car, text us at 609-525-4865.

BMW buying guide

Start with your chassis code

BMW gives every generation a code: E for older cars (from Entwicklung, German for development), then F, and now G, plus a number for the model and body. The code tells you more than the model name. An F80 M3 and a G80 M3 are different cars with different bumpers and panels. Our biggest ranges are for the G80 M3, the G82/G83 M4 and the G87 M2. The previous generation has its own F80 M3 and F82 M4 page and an F87 M2 page. The SUVs are split the same way, from the X3 M and X4 M to each X5 M and X6 M generation, and the M5 pages run from the F10 to the G90 sedan and G99 Touring.

LCI and pre-LCI versions

LCI stands for Life Cycle Impulse, BMW's name for a model's mid-life update, usually about three years in. The update often brings new lights and a reshaped front bumper, so a splitter, grille or bumper trim made for one version usually won't fit the other. That's why the X3 M and X4 M have separate LCI and pre-LCI pages, as does the F90 M5, and why X5 M listings say which version they fit. The model year usually tells you which one you have: the update came for 2021 on the F90 M5, 2022 on the X3 M and X4 M, and 2024 on the X5 M and X6 M.

M cars, M Sport and M Performance

An M car has bodywork of its own. BMW gives the G90 M5 its own front apron, side skirts, diffuser and wider wheel arches, for example, and the X5 M its own front and rear aprons. The M Sport package gives a car like the 330i or X5 a sportier bumper set, and M Performance models such as the M340i sit between the two. So M3 parts won't fit a 330i with M Sport, and M Sport parts won't fit an M3. M Performance is also the name of BMW's own accessory line. When one of our listings says MP-style, CSL-style or CS-style, it means the shape the part is based on.

Unit 17 designs and parts from other makers

Some parts are Unit 17 designs that we developed and test-fitted on our own cars and sell only here. They include the SPL1 and SPL2 splitters for the G80 and G82, the G87 M2 aero set and our X3 M front splitters. We also stock parts from other manufacturers, such as the Sooqoo lips for the X5 M and X6 M. Most newer parts are pre-preg dry carbon with a UV-resistant gloss clear coat. Some older listings say real carbon fiber, and a few parts come in forged or matte finishes.

Before you order BMW carbon fiber parts

Read the fitment line on the product page. It names the chassis and body and, where it matters, LCI or pre-LCI, radar or no radar, and left- or right-hand drive. Test-fit the part before you paint or install it. If it doesn't fit the car named on its product page, tell us before it goes on and we'll pay the return shipping for a refund or replacement.

Frequently asked questions

Do M3 or M4 parts fit a 3 or 4 Series with the M Sport package?

No. M cars have their own bumpers and side skirts, and on the F82 M4 about half the components were unique compared with the 4 Series. Parts for M Sport cars are on the model pages, such as the G20 3 Series page for the 330i and M340i. A few trunk spoilers are listed for both the G20 and the G80 M3, and their listings say so.

How do I know which generation my BMW is?

The model and model year tell you. A 2021-on M3 is a G80, and a 2015–2018 M3 is an F80. An M2 from 2023 on is a G87, and 2016–2021 M2s are the F87. Further back, a 2008–2013 M3 is an E9X. If you're still not sure, text your model year or VIN to 609-525-4865 and we'll point you to the right page.

Which M5 page do I need?

It depends on the generation. Pick the F10 M5 (2013–2016 in the US), the F90 M5 from before its facelift (2018–2020) or after it (2021–2023), or, from 2025, the G90 sedan or the G99 Touring. Front and rear parts differ across the F90 facelift, so make sure you pick the right F90 page.

Are these genuine BMW M Performance parts?

No. We sell aftermarket parts, both Unit 17's own designs and parts from other manufacturers. Names like MP-style, CSL-style or GTS-style describe the look a part is based on. BMW, M and the model names belong to BMW, and we use them only to say which car a part fits.

Which BMW parts are Unit 17 designs?

For the G80 M3 and G82 M4, our own designs include the SPL1 and SPL2 front splitters, side skirt extensions, rear corner extensions and a 3-piece diffuser. For the G87 M2 there are splitters, side skirts with winglets, a 3-piece diffuser and the OEM++ spoiler, and the X3 M/X4 M get front splitters, side skirts, a rear spoiler and a diffuser. We design them in-house, and other retailers don't sell them.
