Do I need to drill or cut to install the rear bumper trim?
No cutting or permanent modifications are needed. The trim bolts on in place of the factory gloss-black trim around the diffuser. We don't list step-by-step instructions or the fasteners here, so text us at 609-525-4865 if you'd like the method confirmed before you order. Test-fit the trim before you install it.
Will it fit my M3 or M4?
It's made for the BMW G80 M3 and the G82 and G83 M4. Our fitment list covers 2021 to 2027 model years. Ask us before ordering for any other model. If a part doesn't fit the car listed, contact us before installing and we cover the return shipping for a refund or replacement.
Does it replace the factory trim or cover it?
It replaces the factory outer trim. Your diffuser stays on the car, and the carbon trim goes on over your OEM diffuser or a compatible aftermarket one. You end up with carbon where the black plastic was, matching other carbon parts on the car.
Will it work with an aftermarket diffuser?
It works with the OEM diffuser and with some aftermarket ones. If your car already has an aftermarket diffuser, text us at 609-525-4865 with the brand before you order. We'll tell you whether the trim works with it.
Is it real carbon fiber?
Yes. The trim is genuine carbon fiber with a 2x2 weave, sold as prepreg dry carbon fiber, and it's finished with a UV-resistant clear coat. We don't list a matte version, so ask us if you have a different finish in mind.
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 5 business days after payment. Some parts are made to order, and for those the product page shows the lead time next to the Add to cart button. We ship with UPS or FedEx, and most US orders arrive 1 to 5 business days after they leave us. For an update, text 609-525-4865 with your order number.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. We ship to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the UK, Australia and many European countries. Checkout shows whether we deliver to your address and what shipping costs before you pay. The customer pays customs duties, taxes and other import charges. If checkout doesn't offer your country, text us at 609-525-4865 and we'll check.
