G42 spoilers that also fit the M2
BMW built the G87 M2 on the G42 coupe, and four rear pieces are listed for both: the Unit 17 OEM++ spoiler, the MP-style and CS-style spoilers, and the MP-style wing. The OEM++ is our own design, sold only here. BMW's M Performance spoiler leaves a gap at each end of the trunk lid; the OEM++ keeps that profile and carries it all the way across, in 2x2-weave dry carbon with a gloss finish. Made for the G42 only
The rear diffuser and the M-style mirror caps are G42 parts. The diffuser is dry carbon and mounts into the lower factory mounting location. Its listing doesn't say whether it's for the M240i or a 230i with M Sport, and the two have different tailpipes, so text a photo of your rear bumper to 609-525-4865 first. The mirror caps are prepreg dry carbon in an M shape. The M2 has its own bumpers, and its mirror covers are separate listings on the M2 page.
Interior carbon
The two-piece door sills are shared with the M2. The steering wheel trim comes in leather, Alcantara or full carbon, for heated or unheated wheels, with or without the Driving Assistant Professional (5AU) LED. The top cover behind the wheel is offered with or without M1/M2 button holes, and the armrest box cover is for left-hand-drive cars. BMW fitted a new flat-bottom M steering wheel for 2025, so send photos of your wheel before ordering, as those listings ask.
Frequently asked questions
Which G87 M2 spoilers fit my M240i?
Four rear pieces are listed for both cars: the Unit 17 OEM++ spoiler, the MP-style and CS-style spoilers, and the MP-style wing. The M2's front splitters, grilles, side skirts and diffusers aren't listed for the G42, because the M2 has its own bumpers and wider body.
Is the OEM++ spoiler a Unit 17 design?
Yes. We designed it as part of our G87 M2 aero program and made it to fit the G42 as well. It fills the gaps the factory M Performance spoiler leaves at the trunk corners, and it's sold only by Unit 17.
Do the G42 spoilers need drilling?
Not the MP-style or CS-style spoilers: both listings say no drilling is required. The OEM++ and MP-style wing listings don't describe fitting, so text us at 609-525-4865 and we'll explain how they mount.
Will the G42 rear diffuser fit a G87 M2?
No. It's listed for the G42 2 Series only and mounts into the G42's lower factory mounting location. The M2 has its own rear bumper and diffusers; see the G87 M2 diffusers.
