The M3 is a four-door sedan and the M4 a two-door coupe, and their trunk lids differ, so every spoiler here is listed for one car only. The F80 spoilers are listed for 2014 to 2018 M3s and the F82 spoilers for 2014 to 2020 M4 coupes, and each product title names its body. Check that line before you order rather than going by photos alone.
PSM style, CS style or a plain lip
PSM style is the aftermarket name for a high-kick trunk spoiler whose trailing edge turns up more steeply than a factory-style lip. It's available for both cars, in separate versions: the F80 M3 PSM-style spoiler and the F82 M4 PSM-style spoiler. The CS-style spoiler is the sedan's other option and takes its name from BMW's limited CS models. On the coupe, the alternative is a carbon spoiler with no style name in its listing, so compare the product photos to judge its height.

The CS-style M3 spoiler and the F82 carbon spoiler come with predrilled screw holes and self-tapping screws, which means drilling the trunk lid. The PSM-style listings don't state a method. What does PSM style mean on a trunk spoiler?
It is the name the aftermarket uses for a high-kick spoiler: the trailing edge rises more sharply than a factory lip, giving the car a more aggressive side profile. Our PSM-style spoilers are real carbon fiber, made separately for the F80 sedan and the F82 coupe.
