The first question for any G80 M3 grill is radar, not style. If your sedan has Active Cruise Control, a small black radar module sits low on the left of the factory grille, and the CSL style is the only one listed as compatible with it. Every grille here is also listed for the G82/G83 M4, because the two cars share a front end.

Choosing a G80 M3 grill for a car with radar
Look at the lower left of your M3's grille before anything else. A small black square there is the radar that Active Cruise Control relies on. If it's there, order the CSL-style grille listed "w/ radar". If it isn't, you have more to choose from: the CSL-style "without radar" version and the original GT-style grille are both made for cars without the module. CSL, GT, GTS or V style
- CSL style follows the M4 CSL, the 1,000-car lightweight special whose own grille had fewer slats spaced further apart. It's the style offered in radar and no-radar versions.
- GT style comes as the original design for radar-free cars or as a newer one-piece molding.
- V style is sold as a two-piece direct replacement or as a single piece, both with a high-gloss clear coat.
- GTS design shows a 2x2 weave under a UV-resistant gloss clear coat. Its listing also covers the G81 M3 Touring.
Since every option is pre-preg dry carbon, the decision is mostly about the pattern of the openings, so compare the photos. A CSL-style grille sits well with a CSL-style lip from the G80 M3 front lips.
Fitting it, and the 2025 facelift
The listings describe direct replacements on the factory mounting points. The CSL and original GT-style grilles ship without a badge, so plan to move the emblem across from your old grille. Test-fit before the car is put back together: an installed grille can't be returned, but if one doesn't fit the car named on its product page, contact us before installing and our fitment guarantee pays the return shipping. Does my M3 need the radar version of the CSL grille?
It does if the car has the front driver-assist radar that comes with Active Cruise Control. You'll see it as a small black square in the lower left of the factory grille. Will a grille for a 2021 M3 fit my 2025 LCI?
Going by the listings, yes. BMW gave the 2025 M3 new headlights for the facelift but didn't change the kidney grille, and the grilles on this page are listed for 2021-on cars. The no-radar CSL listing names 2021 to 2025. The radar question still applies to a facelift car, so check for the module before you order.
Is an M4 grille the same part as an M3 grille?
On this generation, yes. The G80 M3 was designed with the same kidney grille as the G82 M4, so each grille we sell for one is listed for the other, and for the G83 convertible. The product page's fitment line confirms it before you order.
Do I need a new badge for the grille?
No, you reuse the one you have. The CSL-style and original GT-style listings state that no badge is included, so the emblem is transferred from your factory grille during the swap. The other listings don't mention a badge, so ask us if you want to be sure.
